Q: What does Connexto run on?

Connexto installs as a Windows service (Windows Server 2019+ or Windows 10/11, 64-bit) with a web panel. It connects to Nedap AEOS via WebService and Socket Interface, and to Mirasys via a text channel and HTTP IO.

Connexto connects access control, CCTV and more systems into one coherent layer for the operator. An independent integration platform - installed on-premise, no cloud.

What is Connexto?

Connexto is a security systems integration platform (PSIM category). It connects systems from different manufacturers - access control, CCTV and more - into one coherent view for the operator. It runs on-premise, no cloud.

Which systems does Connexto integrate now, and which are planned?

Four two-way integrations are available: Nedap AEOS (access control), Mirasys (CCTV / VMS), Nedap and Satel Integra (intrusion detection). Also available: one-way integration of fire alarm systems (event monitoring via OPC) and signal-level integration of existing access control systems via networked IP I/O modules. Perimeter protection systems are planned.

Is the Nedap AEOS and Mirasys integration two-way?

Yes. Events from AEOS reach Mirasys live, and Mirasys can send commands back to AEOS - for example, controlling doors directly from the camera view.

Does Connexto run in the cloud?

No. Connexto runs as a Windows service on the customer's server (on-premise). Data never leaves the site, which meets the requirements of sensitive facilities.

What does Connexto run on?

Can the operator open and lock doors from Mirasys?

Yes. The operator panel (SOC) shows a real-time event stream: time, location, person and status (access granted / denied), along with statistics and alerts.

How do I monitor integration health?

The admin panel shows metrics, channel statuses (e.g. Mirasys), the Nedap AEOS connection status and technical alerts in a single view.

Which Nedap licenses are required?

1 additional AEOS user license, used for communication between the systems. Connexto platform pricing is quoted individually.

Which AEOS events can trigger actions in Mirasys?

Any AEOS event can trigger an action on the VMS side; events are passed in real time via the Socket Interface.
